Updating Again
Blogger recently upgraded their layouts and all, so I'll be revamping the blog a bit over the next few days. Bear with me and don't mind the rough look it currently has.

Mini Update
Alright, folks. The site's been down for a couple weeks now, it looks like the free host we were using went belly up. So after some discussion with Jenny, I've decided I'm going to *gasp* pay for a new host. Sure, free is nice, but this'll be better as it should be more reliable, plus we'll also be able to do some cool new stuff with the site. We're in the planning stages or redesigning the site now and with any luck, there will be a relaunch soon.
In the meantime, my blog here will serve as my home on the web.
It's been a while since I've actually written any movie reviews, but if you find yourself with a hankerin' for some reviews, do yourself a favor and check out Jenny's reviews here.
In other news, Batman's Gonna Get Shot in the Face is steadily approaching completion and it's looking hilarious. I can't wait to see this baby finished.
I'm thinking I might actually film The Robin's Song after I'm done animating Batman. I've had it on the back burner for so long now, I'd like to finally do something with it.
Ah well, I must get back to work. Until next time.!

jacobdrake.com: Year One
Wow, it's already the One Year Anniversary of jacobdrake.com! One year since I decided to do something with the web address Corey got me for my 22nd birthday.
In one year I've thrown together 67 reviews, 59 blog entries, and 11 "Ask Jacob" replies. Okay, seriously, we need more Ask Jacob participants, ya lazy bums! In all honesty, I can't believe I've already typed up that much stuff for the site, especially since I tend to go a while without updating sometimes. It's amazing how many interesting...characters...I've gotten emails from because of the site. I've even received a message from another Jacob Drake out there!
I've had a blast so far and I just want to take this time to thank some people.
And of course...
Year one was fun and I expect even more excitement with projects and what not over the next year, so thanks again and stay tuned!

- Corey- Thanks for buying that url and making me keep being creative. You continue to be "da man," even all the way from Oregon.
- My family and friends- Thanks for keeping thing interesting and joining me on the various adventures and misadventures I end up blogging about (and the ones I don't).
- All visitors to the site- Though few you may be, knowing that somebody's out there reading keeps this fun for me, I'll do my by best to keep it fun for you too.
And of course...
- Jenny- Without you, this site wouldn't be much of anything at all. I may type this stuff up, but you do all the tough stuff and for that I'm grateful. You're the best!

A Blog For Adrienne
Tonight Adrienne told me, and I quote, "you need some more blogs." Who am I to argue? So here we go!
I'll begin with a little update on things. As of last weekend, the rough draft of my screenplay is finished! Right now, Zoe's looking it over and she'll be letting me know what areas I need to work on. I'll keep you posted as things progress!
It's been one hell of a week here in JacobLand! It's Spring Break around here, so everyone who's more motivated than yours truly and going to college has the week off. That means tons of catching up with old friends and getting to know new ones.
On Saturday night I was lucky enough to have the company of Corey and Adrienne. We chilled out, watched Garden State, and ate mint chocolate chip ice cream, courtesy of Corey. Let me tell you, that's an accurate name, it was in fact minty, chocolate chippy, icy, AND creamy. Delicious. Great movie, yummy snack, and the company wasn't too shabby either.
Sunday I met the cutest poodle on Earth and had a mini game night with Corey and Mikey. *sings* Madden '05 and Mario Party, TimeSplitters 2 and Soul Calibur also, playing those games until my fingers sting, these are a few of my favorite thiiiiiiiings.
Monday- Slow day. Corey left for Oregon, I worked on a cartoon for Adrienne.
Tuesday, Adrienne made a return visit! We basically just sat and talked from 8 PM to 1:30 AM and had such a great time. We watched American Idol and the judges contradicted everything I said. Jerks. Plus tonight my girl was voted off! Amanda got robbed. Anyway, after Adrienne went home, she came online and we chatted til 5 AM. She's definitely cool, plus she has some strange kind of superhuman tolerance for my rambling.
And the fun doesn't end there, folks! I'm hoping to fill out the rest of the week with more company, special guests may include such fan favorites as Bridget, Maria, and maybe a super special third visit from Adrienne!*
*card subject to change
I can tell all my readers are wetting themselves with excitement. Well, go clean yourselves up. that's all I've got for now. More soon...if you behave.

Up and Running
Finally!
For my birthday this year my best bud, Corey, went for a unique gift and got me a domain name. Now, about 2 months later, jacobdrake.com is up and running! ...for the most part.
It'll be fully functional soon enough. Be patient with me, I'm a busy man!
Anyway, this blog is the first link on my site to be working. It's not much, but it's a step in the right direction I suppose.
So let me take a second here to thank a couple people.
Corey- Thanks for the url! I'll do my best to put it to good use.
Jenny- Thank you a thousand times for all your hard work in helping me get the site going. WebGoddess indeed.
You- Thanks for bothering to stop by and give this stuff a look. I hope I can be entertaining, insightful, fun, etc. for all of you guys to increase your web-browsing pleasure.
